Our favourite co-working spots in Manchester

We go either alone or meet up; both serve a delicious purpose! But not all coffee shops are remote working friendly - some prefer you to be eating, some are too busy to hear yourself think, so we’ve rounded up the best.

Our minimum requirements for a good working space:

  • Good coffee

  • Friendly to remote workers

  • Easy to park relatively cheaply closeby

  • Background tunes

Ducie Street Warehouse

Vibes, vibes, vibes. Always buzzing, with a real crowd of remote workers no matter what day you’re there. We like the order from your table ‘leave you to it’ service and you can easily slide from coffee to after work drinks here. Top tip: Get Gooey goodies to take home.

PKB Angel Gardens

Probably our most regular haunt for two reasons - you can never go wrong with food or coffee. We always seem to see someone we know which sums up the friendliness and we love the clean aesthetic. The location is great for a nip into the Northern Quarter but being easy to get in and out of town for.

The Alan

Interior perfection, it feels more like you’re in Shoreditch than Manchester. Jay Rayner is a fan of the food here, and the hotel has just been included in the Michelin guide. The coworking deal (Coworking - The Alan Hotel Manchester) includes unlimited tea and coffee and lunch, tremendous value! There’s a steady coworking crowd and the location on Princess Street is central to make your way across town.
