Friday flashes

April Friday Flashes – Monthly Flashes of Inspiration

Can I get a whoop whoop?! I have had a pretty fun week, working on the website and online programme! I feel like we’re edging closer to having somewhere great for you guys to access tips and tools to create your most successful, happiest and healthiest lives…I’m excited! I’m 100% looking forward to a glass of something red and yummy tonight but before I indulge…my Friday Flashes for this week!

  1. Ridgeview English sparkling wine. As promised, I have included a wine tip in in the form of this little surprise package from last Friday’s wine tasting. Now I am a bit of a sparkling wine snob…I have not found a prosecco that I love and therefore tend to stick to the good old French stuff. HOWEVER, this little beauty blew me away! Traditional champagne blend, delicate and fresh! It was utterly delish and great value for your pennies!
  2. Crow pose! I have attached an image for those who have no idea what the heck I’m talking about! This is a yoga pose that I’ve been working on for a little while (on and off) and this week I nailed it! I love it as it challenges the mind body connection and also REALLY strengthens the core. I think my pilates sessions are paying off! It is also a great pose to practise as it improves digestion and helps to support the lower back.
  3. Collagen hydrolysate (protein supplement). So…we all understand the importance of protein in our diets don’t we? For repairing muscle and regulating the body’s metabolism like no other. Well this is a supplement that does what your regular whey protein powder does…plus some! It is easier to digest and absorbed much faster so you need less to achieve the desired effect and your body doesn’t have to work as hard. Plus it has additional benefits like improving joint and bone health skin health (hence the collagen in skincare products). I buy the Great Lakes Gelatin version from Amazon. I hope that was an interesting little feast for you guys! Let me know what you think and I hope you all have a spectacular weekend. Laura xx
